Ski Huntin'
Well, pretty much got shut down on pro-form skis this year by Keating and Day Dogg. Fortunately, Day landed some Scarpa TX Comp NTN boots at $500 bills (actually a really good deal on boots that retail for 770!) and I already have the binding and two plates. I sold all my old gear: all hammerheads, BD boots, O1 binding, etc. ALL IN!!! The ski conundrum remains. However, I think I've come to a satisfactory decision. Aramda JJ's, Atomic Bent Chetlers, Rossi S7's & Moment Josh Bibby's are all stupid expensive right now: 600+. Even used skis with NO bindings are going for over $500!!! My buddy Marshal works at DPS and can hook me up with a Hybrid Wailer RP112 184cm for $480. The only catch....the ski doesn't get here till January. Sounds like this ski rips and at just over 8 lbs a pair....could be nice for the backcountry. I may just mount up my old AKs as a powder board till then (Volkl bridges are already mounted.) What would YOU do???

Too much ski for you...you couldn't handle it.
don't you mean...too much ski for the East Coast??
If they won't be here until Jan, you should totally get them, thereby assuring massive dumps in Dec.
la nina....Pierre, you coming to Utah?
wait for the DPS's. got a buddy who reps for them. everything i've heard about those skis is 100% positive boarding on orgasmic. i almost pulled the trigger on a pair of Wailer 105's a few weeks ago. also look at On3P's, Billy Goat.
