Snowy Valdez

The bottom picture is one I took while we were in Valdez over the weekend. Thompson Pass up high was too snowed in, so we spent the first day doing a tour out of the cabin. Anyways, I like this picture because it is all snowy and smooth.

The top picture is from the second day when we got to go back into Moonlight Basin. The avy conditions were considerable, so we had to stay on mellow terrain, but the snow was wonderful, and it was a great treat that we got some sunshine during the day. This was taken around 3:30 or so...sunset up here is pretty early these days. Anyways, hope you like the pictures. It's snowing again in Anchorage. 10 inches on the car this morning, and another 6 inches or more so far today, with it not looking like it is going to stop anytime soon. Seth and I are going for a ski tour tonight after work. How long will it be until then, though! Argh! It's so hard to sit at the desk when it is all snowy outside. Talk to you all later...
