The crickets are chirpin...

The overwhelming sound of silence on the balls deep blog. TK sounds like CO is in the best spot with some recent snows, but overall it sounds like the start to this winter has been a big let down to most of us. I haven't had enough snow yet to cover the grass in my yard despite several weeks of cold air. Every time significant precipitation moves in...so does the warm air. Classic New England. Though at least northern VT has reaped some decent snows off the lakes.
And every time one of these storms moves through, the weathermen say it will turn colder and the next storm looks to deliver snow...frustrating.
Hope everybody had a great turkey day, ate well and were merry. TK, give me a call, we need to touch base about January. It sounds like Erik would rather head out there later rather than earlier in the week due to the inauguration. It may be better if we did the Fri arrival time-frame instead. Seth & Hils, how does this work for you guys?

Funny, I skied boot and shin deep after a Turkey Day burning hike at Stowe yesterday. Felt the gravy after the first 1000 feet, stuffing came a little later.

follow this link to see photos from last weekend at Sugarbush. Face shots anyone???

You know things are bad when there is more snow at Stowe than Teton Village... Lets hope we get in the cycle soon!

Loveland got 49 inches last weekend so I decided to take a day off of work to ski with Erica. Low 30s and sun today with some shin deep off trail. More snow comin tonight so the weekend looks good. Hope to hit up some BC on Berthoud this weekend... But we finally got some, thank god.
