Way too early to call, but definitely watching end of next week for a hum-dinger of a storm to roll up the coast. It looks like we might be transitioning more into the proper mode for a good storm cycle once this artic air departs on saturday/sunday. Waking up to 1" everyday on the ground isn't bad though, but southern vt needs a jumpstart to open up the bc.

I think N Vermont needs a bit more as well, so I can't even imagine what the south is like.

I skied of the backside of Spruce on Saturday into the notch, and while the upper portion of the mountain was skiing great, the bottom half was pretty sketchy, wound up skiing down a small ice fall since every turn was in pucker brush where there was snow, and we were above a cliff band. Another foot or ten of snow would be great.

Fear not children. All's you need to do is look in the right spots, say like, where i went for a lunch time ski today. top o' boot deep, un touched, soft, no crust, with all the fixins...really. That said, sure, we could use another 1-15 feet of snow.

And for whoever's intersted, i've got a pile of 2 for 1 ticket coupons to Jay. works out to be $30 per person for the day which is cheaper than the VTer discount.
