25 Short

This morning Tim and I arose before dawn for a ski of 25 Short in Grand Teton National Park. Sunrise treated us with dramatic light on the Tetons.

After a long skin to the top.
We were met with the incoming storm dropping fresh snow on us. Many powder turns were had. A face shot here and there.

The forecast calls for 1-2 feet of snow by tomorrow. Sweet!

Sick!! I went to two SOund tribe shows this weekend at the Fillmore, including a late night show last night at the Gothic theatre where Tribe played until 5am - that was pretty epic. One thing jackson doesn't have.....good music. Wish I didn't have to work tomorrow....supposed to get a foot + tonight....shit!

Too bad nobody else wanted to comment on those sweet pics. I guess the quiet scene on Ballsdeep must be a reflection of lack of snow and turns being had by you all, translated to personal frustration and feelings of inadequacy. Meanwhile, we are getting plastered with snow in Jackson. 1o inches this past week so far with another 20+ by Saturday night. The cycle continues to hammer us with fronts continually moving in from the Pacific Northwest. Looking forward to Sunday- powder turns all day, leaving the mountain just in time to see the Pats seal the dynasty deal.

Greeny, glad to here you got a little taste of the West and hung with Seth and Hils. Hope you enjoyed the 6-pack of Dale's Pale I brought (sorry we drank six). I have the flu right now, but hoping to be healthy enough to ski on Saturday as we continue to get pounded here in North Central Colorado. Friends have been enjoying waist deep in the Vail BC while I've been laid up in my house with a fever. Shit..... Knee is a little worked from christmas break still so a weekend off was good for it. If I'm good to go on Saturday and Sunday, I hope to drop a post. Tim, skiing BC this weekend or banging the resort, snow totals on both sides of the pass are ridiculous!! Peacey weace....
