If you read, Saranac Lake (valley locale) was reporting heavy snow, down to 1/4 mile vis.

Not unheard of, just not that common. We just had a frost at our house.
By the way there is a cut-off low spinning of the coast of Cali, wondering if when that makes it on shore later this week whether or not it will bring some snows to the Sierras. Either way, good to see Cali may get some beneficial rains out of it.

Yup, we are predicted to have snow in the northern Sierras Friday June 5.
