East coast blowtorch about to turn on?...check. knew my bubble had to burst at some point...could lead to some serious flood issues if this thaw comes coupled with a lot of rain. At least I know I need to enjoy the snow this coming weekend.

I don't know anymore Keating, we may be dodging a bullet with this thaw although we may still see a freezing rain/cold rain out of it...looks like we may not even see 40 here in the southern vt valleys from it. Hi of 38 tomorrow then cool down for the weekend...hi of 36 next thursday before the ice/rain storm then a cool down...that's for us down here mind you. Time will tell...
What's up with the Utah storm train that all seems to roll in each year right around the OR show. Looks to be the third year in a row (at least) of this. Pretty bummed not to be making the pilgrimage this year.
