Frappé anyone?

Storm total from the past storm is conservatively 20" at my house. Up at elevation with colder temps & better ratios, balls deep...definitely resembling a Pac NW storm. Definitely not face shots snow, but was able to open up with the new skis & let them do their thang on the earlier morning raid of Merck forest. Snowed at some pretty incredible rates until ~1-2 in the afternoon when the storm ended with some drizzle in the valley floor

Eastern woods Taconics style:

Realize this aspect looks crazy wind-affected, but basically it wasn't at all. This shot was an eastern aspect and winds were howling out of the east, but did little damage to the snow:

Beauty shot of the new sticks. Was glad to have them in the quiver for this storm:

more freshies, Mad River style, yesterday. had a senior medical clinic and the instructor was running 1 hour late. hmm....free ticket, 40 inches, and a single chair that hadn't run in 48 hours? good times on fall line woods!!!! off to BV today to administer our rookie Taboggan test...should only last til noon and then it's left over freshie time...ie, soft bumps with light snow falling. day 75 for the season, my legs hurt.
