Things are lookin Up

"BESTSKIWEATHER.COM WILL BE LIVE BY NOVEMBER 18TH FOR SIGN UP, SKI TICKETS

AND WEATHER FORECASTS. RIGHT NOW, THERE ARE SOME SUGGESTIONS OF A COLDER

THAN NORMAL START IN EARLY-MID NOVEMBER IN PARTS OF THE NORTHEAST AND

THE CHANCE THAT THIS SKI SEASON COULD START OFF DRIER IN THE FAR WEST AND

BETTER IN THE EAST"

Alright alright...nothing like a promising forecast to brighten my mood. Balz is the euphoria starting to die back yet? And hey nobody died this go-around celebrating the fact that the red sox actually won the world series. Seriously though, we should try to get up Dorset Mt sometime in the near future w/some trimmers. Killington has started cranking their guns, just test runs, but sounds like after this weekend they should be blowing to try to open by at least the following weekend.

World Series Baby!!!

Ahhh, 'tis a good time to be a Boston sports fan.

The Patriots look like a team of Mount Olympus Gods, pummeling the opposition in the same manner that sharks with freakin laser beams attached to their heads would destroy their prey.

The BC Eagles are ranked number 2.

The Celtics look like they may actually contend this year.

And the Red Sox have become baseball's gold standard franchise, while the Yankees look like they are on the precipice of disaster.

Tonight, Mr. Robb Henzi and I will be sitting behind the Pesky Pole, look for us as I dive over Henzi, making a fantastic play on a big papi home run.

GO SOX!!!!

'07-'08 Season...Giddy Up

Ladies & Gents,
Been a while...thought I kick off another Balls Deep winter season despite the fact that it is about 80 degrees outside the window and tomorrow is suppose to be even warmer. Besides that fact, I am watching a potential first snowfall on the 14th of this month. Time will tell. I'm guessing the Westener's will already have some snowfall tallied under their belt. Sounds like the pac norwest is already seeing some pretty significant accumulations. So weather service's are saying that it is suppose to be a La Nina year. Not suppose to be great news for most of us, but then again the 2000-2001 season was a weak-moderate La Nina so I think its too early to tell. And after seeing last year's dysfunctional El Nino I don't think anybody is ready to place their bets.
Now that the Balz-bonious has moved a little closer to southern vt, i'm pretty stoked for the upcoming winter. I'm just hoping it's a halfway descent winter and we can partake in some balls deep turns. Went up to the dack's the other weekend, and scoped out a handful of slides that need to be skied. Hope to hear from most of ya'll soon.
