Big slide
Check out this skier triggered slide in the park on the hanging snow field of Peak 10,696. This shot was taken by a friend who had just summited Whimpy's. He did not see it, and the report said no one was injured. South facing 30 degree slope.

Colorado is super nasty right now....massive wind loaded slopes after last weeks wind event. Oh and those wind slabs are sitting on a layer that continues to facet at the ground, due to extreme temperature gradients...just another winter in Colorado....after my trip to Utah...I may be moving there next winter!
