Spent the evening hanging out with the crew from Igneous skis, and helped participate in gluing some cores together for some dude from SLC. Very cool to see the process of making a custom kick ass pair of skis.

Bit the bullet and bought a pair of 175 double fat skis last week. Thus trading discounted PBR cubes and man hours in the shop for some money off the local's rate.
SO fucking pumped. Bring on the 09-10 ski season!

Pretty weak snowpack in JH so far, but it has been cold. Went up on the pass last weekend to check it out, and was pleasantly surprised by a two foot snow pack. Unfortunately it did not prevent me from gouging my base on the cat track on the way out. I heard it is deep on Togwotee though and storm forcast for the weekend. Want to check it out Natty?
