The Rare Storm

An extremely rare storm just has moved through...one that was predicted to be sleet, freezing rain or just plain rain which in reality brought 100% snow. 6" at my house this morning with another 4-8" predicted over the next 24 hrs and another moderate clipper coming through this weekend. Not quite California, but better than what we've been looking at recently. Looks like southern vt will have some good skiing by this weekend after all.
Balzbaugh good luck in DC, although for selfish reasons I hope you fail miserably! ;-) Hopefully see you on Sunday. Keating?! weekend plans yet?

8 inches yesterday. 15 today and another 12 forecasted before sunday. real nice skiing right now. deep and light and quiet and soft and fast and stuff. skins will be deployed for the weekend. erik and dave, if you know what's good for you, you'll head north.
