Interesting Theory

For any other weather geeks:
Here is one take on the current cooling/temp plateau that we are experiencing. Interesting thoughts, don't quite buy it all since I think it has more to do with sun spot activity, but definitely an interesting read:

June Snow in New England

http://www.accuweather.com/mt-news-blogs.asp?partner=accuweather&blog=Weathermatrix&pgurl=/mtweb/content/Weathermatrix/archives/2009/06/who_got_june_1st_frost_snow.asp

If you read, Saranac Lake (valley locale) was reporting heavy snow, down to 1/4 mile vis.

Not unheard of, just not that common. We just had a frost at our house.

By the way there is a cut-off low spinning of the coast of Cali, wondering if when that makes it on shore later this week whether or not it will bring some snows to the Sierras. Either way, good to see Cali may get some beneficial rains out of it.
