Backyard pics

Since I can't really provide any action ski photos since i'm pretty much always sans partner...thought i'd provide some pics from SW Vermont recently since it's been one of the best stretches of snow for me since i moved here, the only better runs being Valentines '07 - St. Pat's '07 and maybe late Feb-Early Mar '09
Pre New Year's day Upper level low brought 7"...bout time:

Post New Year's Storm Day 1, starting to add up:

Post New Year's Storm Day 2....it's on:

Received another 4-6" in total after this pic, but since then the snowpack at my house has been waning. Received 4-5" at my house the past couple days, but 4 days of 40+ degree weather this weekend did its damage.

~2300 ft 2 weekends ago:

Dog-leg left icicle?? can't say i'm familiar with the physics of this one:

Been nice to see some consistent cold and snowy pattern since the past couple years have been frustrating for me in Southern Vermont due to 1-2 big snows only followed by big thaws. Hype meter is still very high for Feb-Mar so let's see if the hype can deliver cause I know winter '00-'01 didn't really take off around these parts until mid-Feb.

laughable man....maybe your mtns have a deeper base due to the your pre x-mas base, but I know at your house you had just patchy snow just like us after the X-mas rain. But every since southern vt has been neck & neck with northern. I've got guys in Jericho, Underhill, Swanton & Vergennes that I talk weather with and who we post storm totals. Dorset is only 2" behind Jericho since X-mas.
